在日常生活中,每个人都会有悲伤的时刻。研究表明,人的悲伤情绪病比其它情绪持续更久,因为人们倾向于花更多的时间在思考悲伤的事件上。但是,如果你老是让自己沉浸在悲伤的情绪中,会让自己慢慢地陷入抑郁,从悲伤情绪中不能自拔。[1] 下面向你介绍摆脱悲伤情绪的几种方法。

- 大哭一场。有研究表明,哭泣有助于体内内啡肽的释放,内啡肽是一种能改善情绪的物质。哭泣还会让人体内副交感神经系统活跃起来,以减缓压力和伤痛带来的不良情绪。[2]
- 几项研究表明,哭泣是体内有效的缓解机制,可以把自己的痛苦传递给外部环境。同时,当他人看到你哭泣时,自然也会给予你更多的关怀。[3]
- 威廉•弗雷认为,哭泣会把体内的毒素排泄出来,这个观点在各大媒体上也得到了广泛传播。尽管哭泣能带出来的毒素非常有限,几乎微不足道,而且大部分泪液还会被鼻腔重新吸收回去,但或许这个理论有它一定的道理在。[4]
- 还有一项研究提出,哭泣之后你的情绪能否得到缓解,取决于你所处的文化环境是否认可哭泣。如果大家(或你的家人)都认为哭泣是羞耻的行为,那么哭泣或许对缓解你的痛苦情绪帮助不大。[5]

- 训练聚精会神的本领。在你内心接受了既定事实,并不再主观地进行反复判定之后,你可以开始将自己的注意力集中在其它事物上。研究表明,聚神可以改变大脑对悲伤情绪的反应,加速恢复。[22]
- 聚神可以帮助你将注意力集中在当下,而不是反复回想悲伤的事件。
- 尝试冥想。一种常用的聚神方法是冥想。研究表明,聚神冥想可以减轻大脑对负面情绪刺激的反应。[23]
- 聚神冥想还可以减轻抑郁和紧张的症状。
- 聚神冥想一般需要15分钟左右的时间。找一个安静、舒适的地方,盘腿坐在椅子或地板上,并换上宽松的衣服。[24]
- 把注意力集中在你的呼吸上。可以集中在呼吸时胸腔的起伏上,也可以是空气通过你的鼻腔时产生的感觉上。
- 轻轻地将空气吸进你的鼻腔,到达你的肺里,腹腔随之放松增大。然后轻轻地通过嘴巴呼气。
- 继续呼吸,把注意力集中的范围扩大一些。慢慢注意到你的感觉,如皮肤接触身上衣服的感觉,心跳的感觉等等。
- 接受这些感觉,不要做出评价。如果你觉得自己慢慢开始分心了,那么重新回到只关注你的呼吸开始。
- 开始练习瑜伽或太极。研究证明,练瑜伽和打太极有助于减缓压力,减轻身心痛苦,改善情绪。因为这两项练习会让你把注意力集中在“自我意识”上。[25][26][27]
- 如果能参加瑜伽或太极的课程,跟他人一同练习,会比你单独一人自学效果更好。

- 了解一些悲伤的常见反应。每个人悲伤的表现都不一样,没有哪一种是正确或错误的表现。通常,悲伤有以下这些表现:[30]
- 不相信。失去的事实让你很难接受,所以发生的一瞬间你会排斥,“这不可能发生”或“这种事不会发生在我身上”。
- 混乱。失去的伤痛让你一时无法集中注意力,还会有些健忘,甚至变得语无伦次。
- 麻木。一开始,你可能会变得麻木,这是大脑的一种自我保护机制,以免你受到过度的刺激。
- 焦虑。当失去很突然时,你很可能会感到紧张、焦虑、担心。
- 释然。有这种感觉的人通常会伴有一种羞愧感,但这也是一种自然的反应。与矛盾重重的爱人分手或许你会感到释然,病痛忽然消失了你也会感到释然。所以,不要让自己因为失去后产生释然的感觉而自责。[31]
- 生理反应。悲伤的情绪袭来,你的身体会作出一系列的反应,如呼吸困难、头痛欲裂、恶心呕吐、四肢无力、疲惫不堪等。你可能会失眠,但也能会昏睡不醒。
- 寻求家人和朋友的帮助。向亲近的人倾吐内心的郁结,能帮助你缓解忧伤。[48]
- 给自己时间来消化。或许需要一段较长的时间,你才能走出忧伤的情绪。给自己足够的耐心和时间,让自己逐渐进入悲伤的最后一个阶段“接受”。[49]广告
- 咨询医生。如果你已表现出影响日常生活的抑郁症状,不妨咨询下专业的医生。他/她会建议你服用一些让脑中激素恢复到正常水平的药物,帮助你改善情绪。[59]
- 向专业的精神专家寻求帮助。抑郁症的成因很多,因此最好找专业的精神专家帮你治疗。他们可以帮助你理解病情,并引导你治疗。除了建议你服用药物之外,还会给你心理辅导,两种方法结合使用促使你更快康复。[64]
- 关于抑郁的治疗有两个悖论。一是“你只要振奋精神,就能摆脱”,二是寻求帮助是弱者的表现。这两种说法都是不对的。寻求帮助是强者的表现,因为你敢于鼓起勇气让自己变得更好。[65]
- 精神专家也有很多种类,如精神病专家和精神护士,他们是有处方权的,也可以实施一定的心理疗法。[66]
- 心理学家是拥有心理学(临床心理学、教育心理学或咨询心理学)博士学位的人,在心里疗法上有专业而系统的知识。收费仅次于精神病专家。
- 执业临床社工是拥有社会学硕士学位的人,他们也可以实施一定的心理学疗法,还可以帮助你在当地社区找到其它相关的治疗服务。但执业临床社工的工作场所通常是社区的小诊所或学校的健康中心。
- 执业婚姻家庭治疗师专门解决家庭和情侣之间的问题。他们有些可以单独实施心理疗法,有些则不可以。
- 执业辅导专家是拥有咨询硕士学位的人,他们不能单独实施心理疗法,只能在督导的指导下才可以进行。而且他们的工作场所通常在社区的小诊所内。
- 联系保险公司。如果你生活在美国,可以向你的医疗保险公司咨询,根据你所投保的险种,在当地可以提供你哪些心理咨询服务。有些保险公司可以报销你家庭医生所推荐的所有心理咨询服务费用,但有些只能报销特定机构提供的心理咨询服务。
- 饮食健康。改善饮食并不会“治愈”你的抑郁,但可以得到一定程度的改善。
- 多摄入复杂的碳水化合物。例如,全麦、糙米、大豆、小扁豆等,都是很好的复杂碳水化合物。这些食物会让你产生更持久的饱腹感,并有效降低血糖浓度。[69]
- 不要摄入糖和简单碳水化合物。吃了这些食物,你会在短期内感觉到“亢奋”,但长期来讲只会使抑郁状况变得更糟。[70]
- 多吃水果和蔬菜。水果和蔬菜含有丰富的维生素C和β-胡萝卜素,这些都是抗氧化剂,帮助清除体内有害的自由基。因此,尽量在每餐中搭配不同的蔬菜和水果。[71]
- 摄入充足的蛋白质。几项研究表明,多摄入蛋白质有助于提高你的警戒性,[72] 同时也可以改善你的情绪。[73]
- 配合摄入ω-3脂肪酸。很多坚果类食品,亚麻籽油、大豆油等油类,深绿叶蔬菜等都含有ω-3脂肪酸。此外,金枪鱼、三文鱼、沙丁鱼等脂质鱼中也含有ω-3脂肪酸。有些研究表明,经常食用脂质鱼有助于抑郁症的预防。[74]

- 找专家进行治疗。季节性情感障碍的治疗和抑郁症的治疗很像,通常药物配合心理疗法就能治愈。[85]
- 多晒太阳。多晒太阳有助于改善你的情绪。打开窗帘和百叶窗,多去户外活动。[89]

- 多做运动。就像运动能缓解忧郁症的一样,运动也能减轻季节性情感障碍的症状。[92] 如果你居住的地区冬天时间较长,不妨参加些冬日的运动,如滑冰、雪鞋健行等等。
- 去温暖的地方度假。如果你居住的地方冬天光照时间非常短,不妨选择去阳光充足的地方度假。比如,加勒比海岸和美国西南部即使在冬日,也有非常充足的阳光。[97]广告
