Existe uma linha muito tênue entre se defender e ficar na defensiva... Mas a diferença entre resolver e piorar um problema é enorme. Se você costuma passar situações do dia a dia em que precisa justificar suas atitudes, responsabilizar os outros ou tentar jogar certos problemas para escanteio, pode ser que seu comportamento seja defensivo. Felizmente, não é difícil notar esses momentos e adotar novas perspectivas e soluções. Leia o artigo abaixo e aprenda a sair da defensiva (sem partir para o ataque)!

- Lembre-se: críticas ao seu comportamento ou suas ideias não são necessariamente ataques pessoais. Aprenda a separar quem você é das suas ações, sugestões etc. Pode ser que a pessoa esteja mesmo tentando ajudar.[23]
- Identifique o que você está sentindo. Será que é tensão, raiva, ansiedade ou mágoa? Você acha que precisa provar que está certo, colocar a culpa em outra pessoa ou que não consegue deixar algo passar batido? Está pensando em termos absolutos ("sempre" ou "nunca")? Isso tudo são sinais de comportamento defensivo. Tire um tempo para se acalmar![24]
- Não espere ter a reação perfeita logo de cara. Saber reagir sem ficar na defensiva exige prática. É só não desistir![25]
