How to Cancel a Hotel Reservation on Expedia

Vacation plans don't always go as expected and you may need to cancel your hotel reservations. If you booked your reservations through Expedia, it means that you probably already paid for your room. Luckily, if you are canceling within the hotel's cancellation deadline, there's a good chance that you can get a refund. You can cancel through Expedia's website or by calling their customer support line.

When you booked the hotel reservation, you should have received an email from Expedia that lists your reservation details and itinerary number. Have this email ready to make it easier to cancel your reservation.

Use the email address and password that you used to book the flight to log into your account. You can also use your email address and itinerary number if you don’t remember the password that you created. Click “Submit” to log into your account and view your itineraries.

Click “Upcoming Trips” tab and click on your hotel booking. Find your hotel reservation in the “Upcoming Trips” tab. Once you find it, click it to view the details of your reservation.

Use +1 404-728-8787 if you are calling from outside of the U.S. Use a touch-tone phone or cellphone to call the support line.
