Rudolf Hundstorfer
Austrian politician and trade unionist (1951-2019)
Rudolf Hundstorfer (September 19, 1951 – August 20, 2019) [1] was an Austrian social democratic politician who served as president of the Austrian Trade Union Federation (ÖGB). Hundstorfer was from December 2008 to January 2016 the Federal Minister for Labour, Social Affairs and Consumer Protection. He ran for president in the 2016 election.[2]

Hundstorfer was born in Vienna. On August 20, 2019, Hundstorfer died at the age of 67 from a heart attack while on vacation in Croatia.
