Rosamunde Pilcher
British novelist (1924-2019)
Rosamunde Pilcher, OBE (née Scott; 22 September 1924 – 6 February 2019) was a British writer. She wrote many short-stories and 28 romance novels and mainstream women's fiction from 1949 to 2000. Early in her career she was also published under the pen name Jane Fraser. Her best known work was The Shell Seekers. Pilcher was born in Lelant, Cornwall.
Pilcher died on 6 February 2019 from a stroke at the age of 94.[1]
