U.S. federal aid program for low-income childcare
Head Start is a program of the United States Department of Health and Human Services that gives early childhood education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to low-income children and families.
The program's services and resources are designed to help stable family relationships,children's physical and emotional health, and create an environment to for cognitive skills.[1]
