Enrique Múgica
Spanish lawyer and politician
Enrique Múgica Herzog (20 February 1932 — 10 April 2020) was a Spanish lawyer and politician. He was born in San Sebastián, Guipúzcoa, Spain. A critic of Francisco Franco, he spent three years in prison. He was one of the founders of the Spanish Socialist Party (PSOE).
He was Justice Minister (1988–1991), former congressman (representing Gipuzkoa; 1977–2000) and former Ombudsman (2000–2010).[1]
He died on 10 April 2020 from COVID-19 in Barcelona, aged 88.[2]
