Claude Goretta
Swiss film director (1929–2019)
Claude Goretta (23 June 1929 – 20 February 2019) was a Swiss television producer and movie director. His 1973 movie L'Invitation was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.[1] His 1981 movie La provinciale was entered into the 31st Berlin International Film Festival.[2] He was born in Geneva.
Goretta died on 20 February 2019 in Geneva at the age of 89.[3][4]
