List of the busiest airports in North America

This is a list of the 50 busiest airports in North America. List is ranked by total passengers per year. Data is sourced from annual reports provided by Airports Council International. Tables also show the percentage change in total passengers for each airport as well as change in ranking in comparison to the previous year. Historic rankings dating back to 2013 are also presented.

2022 edit

Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport has been the busiest airport in North America since 1998.
Mexico City International Airport has remained the busiest airport in North America outside the United States for the third year in a row.
Montréal-Trudeau International Airport saw the largest recovery in passenger traffic in 2022, with over three times as many passengers as the year prior.
