Most sites and apps have a Sharing icon that allows you to share links directly to your Facebook timeline. If you don't see a "Share" or "Facebook" button, you can copy the URL and paste it directly. Here's how to post a link to a website, video, or other content on Facebook using your computer, iPhone, iPad, or Android device.

    • Some apps and websites, including YouTube, will have a Share option that you can select to bring up a Copy link option as well.

    Copy the URL. On a phone or tablet, tap the selected URL, then tap Copy in the resulting pop-up menu. On a computer, right-click the selected link, then select Copy.
    • This will copy the URL to your clipboard, meaning you can now go to Facebook and post it.
  4. How.com.vn English: Step 4 Open Facebook and select the "What's on your mind" box.
    It's at the top of the News Feed.

    On a phone or tablet, tap and hold the typing area and select Paste. On a computer, right-click the typing area and select Paste.
    • You can also use the keyboard shortcut: CTRL + V (Windows) or CMD + V (Mac) to paste.

    This will post the link to your Facebook timeline.[1]

    • If you can't find a sharing button, you'll need to copy a link instead.
  3. Step 3 Click or tap the "Facebook" icon.
    This is the icon found in the previous step.
    • If you're prompted to sign into Facebook, tap the Facebook App option and enter your login information.
    • A premade post will appear with the link. You can add text, emojis, tags, or other edits if needed.
