Let’s face it, sometimes you need to cancel a Facebook event. Maybe it was a too-ambitious costume party, or perhaps the venue canceled at the last minute. No matter the reason, it's easy to cancel or delete a Facebook event you created. Canceling means you can’t make any changes to the event, but people can still post on it. Deleting the event deletes everything, preventing anyone from posting. This How.com.vn guide will show you how to delete an event on Facebook on a computer and using the mobile app on your Android, iPhone, or iPad.

Quick Steps

  1. Open Facebook and go to your Events menu.
  2. Select Your Events to view the events you've created.
  3. Find your event and tap the Edit button.
  4. Select Cancel or Delete.
  5. Press Confirm once you've made your selection.

    1. Go to your page. 2. Click events on the left hand side (not the top). 3. Scroll to the event you are looking to remove. 4. Click the black x in the corner to remove the other page's event. If you are not seeing the x, you are in a different view of "Events" probably from the top instead of the left hand side from your initial page.
