Most modern browsers have a private browsing mode, inspired by Google Chrome's "Incognito" mode. In Internet Explorer, the private browsing mode is referred to as "InPrivate Browsing". Any browsing done in this mode will not be logged on your computer. You can use InPrivate Browsing in both the desktop and Metro versions of Internet Explorer.

It's a social media website, and you can't really go online without people knowing that you're online on social media. That's the entire reason it's called social media.
  • Question
How can I get my Windows 7 laptop out of incognito mode?
    How.com.vn English: Community Answer
    Community Answer
To turn off Incognito browsing, simply close the InPrivate window. Next time you go on Internet Explorer, the browser will not have the InPrivate bar at the top of the window, and it'll save your cookies and history. If you set it to always open in InPrivate mode, do the same procedure from Step 4, except instead of adding the -private, take it away. Then click Apply.
