Karkonosze
Czech and Polish mountain range
Karkonosze (Czech: Krkonoše, German: Riesengebirge, English: Giant Mountains) is the highest part of the Sudeten mountains between Silesia and Bohemia. The Schneekoppe, 1,602 metres (5,256 ft) high, is the highest point.
This mountain also contain the source of the Elbe River and is also known for the Rübezahl, who is a giant, gnome or mountain spirit.
