The region comprises eleiven municipalities extendin in a aurie o 305.72 km² (see belaw, data released in 2006). It borders on the east wi the region or comarca o Oarsoaldea, on the sooth wi Leitzaldea or Norte de Aralar in Spaingie (Navarre), on the wast wi Urola Kosta an on the north wi the Bay o Biscay.
