"127,5000 inhabitants" : should this be "127,500 inhabitants?
"gymnasium" : in the English sense of a place to do gymnastics and similar sports, or in the German sense of a kind of highschool / college place?
Yes, the number of inhabitants is wrong, and the Germa meaning of gymnasium is meant (also Swedish and Dutch meaning of it).
While that may be the proper spelling, most English speaking people looking it up will have a problem typing in the diacretics. I propose that for the titles of articles, diacretics be dropped. Danny
- I agree. I strenuously avoid the use of them in my Norse articles for precisely this reason. user:sjc
- As far as I'm concerned, accents & diacritics in titles are A-okay unless there's a more commonly used anglicized form. Just remember to make a redirect from the accentless spelling for convenience. --Brion
