Roger Williams edit
Roger Williams, founder of Rhode Island, is on this list, and Charterhouse is noted in his entry. Is it certain he attended? MarmadukePercy (talk) 21:21, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
- According to this source [1], Williams did attend and was elected a pensioner of Charterhouse 25 June 1621.MarmadukePercy (talk) 22:24, 5 January 2010 (UTC)

Sir Robert Abdy, Bt. edit
Strictly speaking, despite the style and heritability of his title, a Baronet is a commoner (like a Knight) and thus not a member of the nobility.
Granted, I haven't researched this beyond the bounds of Wikipedia, but Sir Robert doesn't seem to have done much beyond what was a typical career for men in his social class. He went to Sandhurst and was commissioned into the Army. Married a couple of ladies along the way, though not concurrently--now, that would have been something to take notice of. I have no reason to doubt that his Army service was honorable and a credit to him, but I don't see anything outstanding there. I'm not sure why he is included in this list.
