editThe Rangers are not a pro team by IIHF rules. I know, they get paid, but hockey has always engaged in remarkable doublespeak about amateurism. I seem to recall forty-odd years ago the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association declaring that an amateur player was anyone who received less than $40-odd a game (the equivalent of $250-odd today, I should think).
Anyway, if you want to revert to calling the Rnagers a pro team, I won;t get into a reversion war, but I'll probably add a clarification. TronTonian 17:07, 24 May 2004 (UTC)

Balanced Approach to Ben Fanelli Incident
editMore detail has been added about Liambas crying on the ice, trying to visit Fanelli in hospital and about his GM sticking up for him and saying he was a good student and expressed remorse. I think we can remove the flag about balanced approach. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.114.255.6 (talk) 18:51, 9 September 2015 (UTC)
awards section is wrong
editThis edit request by an editor with a conflict of interest has now been answered. |
The awards section lists the 1982-1983 Red Tilson award winner as being a member of the Kitchener Rangers. The 1982-1983 award was won by Doug Gilmour of the Cornwall Royals. See the reference below to past winners.[1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 170.251.196.160 (talk • contribs) 15:19, 11 November 2016 (UTC)
