The following are the public holidays in Mongolia and other special days.

June 28		State Great Khural election day	Улсын Их Хурлын сонгуулийн санал авах өдөр (Ulsyn Ikh Khurlyn songuuliin sanal avakh ödör)	According to the law, the day of regular and special elections of the State Great Khural is a public holiday.
July 11 – July 15		Naadam or Naadam Holiday	Үндэсний их баяр наадам, Ардын хувьсгалын ойн баяр (Ündesnii ikh bayar naadam, Ardyn khuvisgalyn oin bayar)	Six day holiday to coincide with the Naadam Festival
First day of the first winter month of the lunar year	November 16	Genghis Khan Day or Genghis Khaan's Day	Их эзэн Чингис хааны өдөр (Ikh ezen Chingis Khaany ödör)	Established in 2012. This day expresses a symbolic Birthday of Genghis Khan as his exact date of birth is not found.
November 26		Republic Day or Republic's Day	Бүгд Найрамдах Улс тунхагласан өдөр (Bügd nairamdakh uls tunkhaglasan ödör)
December 29		Independence Day	Үндэсний эрх чөлөө, тусгаар тогтнолоо сэргээсний баярын өдөр (Ündesnii erkh chölöö, tusgaar togtnoloo sergeesnii bayaryn ödör)
