Northern Ireland Affairs Select Committee

The Northern Ireland Affairs Select Committee (or simply the Northern Ireland Affairs Committee) is a select committee of the House of Commons in the Parliament of the United Kingdom. The committee's remit is to examine the expenditure, administration and policy of the Northern Ireland Office and its associated public bodies.[1] Select Committees work in both houses and report on governmental departments and economic affairs.[2]

Membership edit

Following the November 2023 cabinet reshuffle, the previous committee chair was appointed to government, therefore, Sir Robert Buckland was elected as chair of the committee.[3][4][5][6][7][8][9]
