  6. ^ Greece does not recognize Kosovo's declaration of independence, and therefore does not maintain formal diplomatic relations with it. Nonetheless, it maintains a liaison office in Pristina, which functions as a de facto embassy, and is headed by a diplomat of ambassadorial rank.
