editAbb Takk News was launched on 19 April 2013 by Syed Fahad Hussain Shah.[1]
AbbTakk TV has drawn criticism for its perceived imitation of India's Aaj Tak channel, even down to the logo and graphical elements.[1] The channel adopts a cautious approach, avoiding potential clashes with state institutions, such as the military and judiciary.[1]
