Pre-season and friendlies

On 9 June, Cardiff City announced their first pre-season friendly, against Wycombe Wanderers to contest Joe Jacobson's tesimonial.[64] Two weeks later, two home friendlies were confirmed, against Penybont and The New Saints.[65] Two behind-closed-doors fixtures were also included during pre-season, against Cambridge United and Bristol Rovers.[66]
