บทความวิกิฮาวนี้จะแนะนำวิธีการลบข้อมูลจาก SD card ในอุปกรณ์ Android ให้คุณเอง ถ้าคุณใช้ Android Nougat หรือ Marshmallow ก็ฟอร์แมตการ์ดเป็น internal storage (ที่เก็บข้อมูลในเครื่อง) หรือ portable storage (ที่เก็บข้อมูลพกพา) ได้เลย

เสียบ SD card. ขั้นตอนจะต่างกันไปตามอุปกรณ์ที่คุณใช้- อาจจะต้องถอดฝาหลังของอุปกรณ์ Android ซะก่อน ถึงจะเจอ slot เสียบ SD card และบางทีอาจถึงขั้นต้องถอดแบตกันเลย
- บางเครื่องก็มีถาดใส่ mini SD card ถ้าเสียบอุปกรณ์พิเศษที่ติดมา ถาดจะเด้งออกมาข้างเครื่อง ถ้ามีรูเล็กๆ ข้างถาด ข้างเครื่อง ก็สอดอุปกรณ์นี้เข้าไปจิ้มได้เลย หรือจะใช้ปลายคลิปหนีบกระดาษแทนก็ได้
เปิดเครื่อง Android. ถ้าเป็นแบบสอดการ์ดเฉยๆ ให้กดปุ่ม power ของมือถือหรือแท็บเล็ตค้างไว้จนเปิดเครื่อง
เปิด Settings ของ Android. ที่ไอคอนเป็นรูปประแจหรือฟันเฟือง เขียนว่า “Settings” ปกติจะอยู่ในหน้า home หรือ app drawer
เลื่อนลงไปแตะ Storage.
เลื่อนลงไปที่ SD card. จะเห็นตัวเลือกไหน ก็แล้วแต่อุปกรณ์ที่ใช้[1]- ถ้ามีตัวเลือกด้านบนชื่อ SD Card เช่น “Erase SD Card” หรือ “Format SD card” ให้ข้ามไปขั้นตอนถัดไป
- ถ้าไม่มีตัวเลือกที่ว่า ให้แตะชื่อ SD card แล้วแตะ ⁝ ที่มุมขวาบนของหน้าจอ จะเห็นตัวเลือก "Format as Internal" หรือ "Format as Portable" ในเมนู pop-up
แตะ Format SD Card หรือ Erase SD Card. เพื่อลบทุกอย่างจาก SD card[2]- ถ้าใช้ Android Marshmallow จะมีตัวเลือก “Format as Portable” หรือ “Format as Internal” ก็ให้เลือก “Portable” ถ้าจะใช้การ์ดในอุปกรณ์อื่น และเลือก “Internal” ถ้าจะใช้เป็น internal hard drive
แตะ Format SD Card หรือ Erase SD Card เพื่อยืนยัน. และลบข้อมูลทั้งหมดใน SD card- ถ้าใช้ Marshmallow หรือใหม่กว่า เท่านี้การ์ดก็พร้อมใช้เป็น internal หรือ portable storage
