- ถ้าใช้ Windows 10 ให้เปิด Control Panel แล้วคลิก Programs คลิก Turn Windows features on or off จากนั้นติ๊ก Telnet Client คลิก OK แล้วรอจนติดตั้งเสร็จ
- ถ้าถูกถาม ให้ใส่รหัสผ่านแอดมิน หรือยืนยันว่าจะไปต่อ ถ้ามีสิทธิ์แอดมิน
ปิด Command Prompt. โดยพิมพ์ exit หรือโดยคลิกปุ่มปิด (X) มุมหน้าต่าง
พิมพ์ telnet แล้วกด ↵ Enter. เพื่อเปิดหน้าเมนูของ Telnet
พิมพ์ o แล้วกด ↵ Enter. เป็นคำสั่งใช้เปิดการเชื่อมต่อ Telnet แล้ว command line จะเปลี่ยนเป็น ( to )
พิมพ์ towel.blinkenlights.nl แล้วกด ↵ Enter. เพื่อเชื่อมต่อกับ host แล้วเปิดหนังขึ้นมา หลังเครดิตตอนต้นจบโฆษณา

พิมพ์ telnet แล้วกด ⏎ Return. เพื่อเปิดเมนู Telnet ที่ต้องใช้เชื่อมต่อเซิร์ฟเวอร์ที่โฮสต์ "Star Wars" เวอร์ชั่น ASCII
พิมพ์ o แล้วกด ⏎ Return. ที่เป็นคำสั่งใช้เปิดการเชื่อมต่อ Telnet แล้ว command line จะเปลี่ยนเป็น ( to )
พิมพ์ towel.blinkenlights.nl แล้วกด ⏎ Return. เพื่อเชื่อมต่อกับ host แล้วเปิดหนังขึ้นมา หลังจบเครดิตตอนต้นโฆษณา
