How to Install Bed Bolts

Bed bolts are long screws that hold the pieces of your bed frame together. The way you secure your bed bolts may vary depending on the type of frame you have. Align the bedposts so the bolt holes line up. Stand the end post of your bed frame up and find the side rail that attaches to it. Many bed frames have a wooden joint or dowels on the side rail so you can easily attach the different pieces. I cant align the bolts with the nub. What can I do?

You could try to put in a slimmer pin or wire to move the nub into right position and then carefully apply the bolts.
