Steps
How to See Who Took a Screenshot
- Open the BeReal app on your Android or iPhone. Tap the app icon that looks like the words "BeReal." on a black background.
- Go to your recent post. How you see who screenshotted your post depends on your type of smartphone:
- If you're using an iPhone, you'll see a lens outline with the number of people that took a screenshot of that post.
- If you're using an Android, you'll see a yellow shutter icon to the right of your post.
- Tap the Screenshot icon. It's below your post next to your caption.
- Android users will see the names of users who took a screenshot of their post, while iPhone users will have to share it to be able to see who screenshotted the post.

- This will also share a direct link to your BeReal profile, so anyone who receives this share will also be able to look at your BeReal profile easily.
- If the person with whom you're sharing the post isn't signed up, the share link may also include an advertisement to sign up with BeReal.[1]
- Once you share the post with at least 1 other person, you'll be able to see the users that took screenshots of that post.
