User:{nominator}Alarichall submitted the following nomination for Editor of the Week:
:I nominate Tagishsimon for their long, diligent, and selfless service to making knowledge free. Editing since 2004, and racking up nearly 72,000 English Wikipedia edits, their principal article creations have concerned the geography of England (with good articles like Battersea Town Hall and major contributions to Alnmouth) Their interests are wide-ranging, taking in complex topics like the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998 and biographies ranging across time and space like Angelus Silesius. Their most important work, however, is probably behind the scenes, importing open-source or public-domain information to expand and improve Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects. They have racked up nearly 4.5m Wikidata edits, particularly in relation to Women in Red. A survey of their contributions at https://www.how.com.vn/wiki/en/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Women_in_Red suggests that they are working very hard and effectively on that project and supporting other editors. I've noticed that they are sometimes quite curt in debates with other editors, usually in relation to article deletions (whether supporting or opposing deletions); but I've spot-checked some of the disputes and it seems that Tagishsimon is consistently applying Wikipedia editing policies, and is sometimes dealing with non-compliant or rude editors. I am glad to nominate this user for Wikipedian of the Week
