เปิด Discord. ที่ไอคอนเป็นจอยเกมสีขาวบนพื้นฟ้า ปกติอยู่ในหน้า home หรือใน app drawer- ถ้ายังไม่ได้ล็อกอิน ให้กรอกข้อมูลล็อกอินก่อน
แตะ ☰. ที่มุมซ้ายบนของหน้าจอ
เลือกเซิร์ฟเวอร์. จะมีรายชื่อเซิร์ฟเวอร์ทางซ้ายของหน้าจอ ให้แตะไอคอนของเซิร์ฟเวอร์ เพื่อดู channel ที่มี
เลือก voice channel. voice channel จะโผล่มาในหัวข้อ “Voice Channels”
แตะ Connect to Voice. เท่านี้ก็เชื่อมต่อ channel เรียบร้อย และกลับไปที่หน้า home- ถ้ามีจุดสีเขียวข้างข้อความ “Voice” แปลว่าเชื่อมต่อเรียบร้อยแล้ว
แตะ Voice Settings เพื่อตั้งค่า voice chat settings. จะอยู่ทางด้านล่างของหน้าจอ แตะแล้วกรอบตัวเลือก voice chat จะเปิดขึ้นมา ตัวเลือกต่างๆ ก็เช่น volume control (ปรับเสียง), noise suppression (ลดเสียงรบกวน), echo cancellation (ตัดเสียงสะท้อน), input sensitivity (ปรับความไว input) และ gain control (ปรับอัตราขยายสัญญาณ)- ถ้าจะลงชื่อออกจาก voice chat ให้แตะ Disconnect มุมซ้ายล่างของหน้าจอ
