ขั้นตอน
เปิดเมนู Start ในคอม. หาแล้วคลิกไอคอน Windows ที่มุมซ้ายล่างของหน้าจอ เพื่อเปิดเมนู Start
พิมพ์ cmd ในช่องค้นหาของเมนู Start. เพื่อค้นหาโปรแกรมทั้งหมด แล้วแสดงผลที่ตรงกันในเมนู Start ปกติ Command Prompt จะโผล่มาบนสุดของผลการค้นหา- ถ้าไม่มีช่องค้นหาในเมนู Start ให้พิมพ์ที่คีย์บอร์ดเลย เพราะ Windows บางเวอร์ชั่นจะมีให้ค้นหาโปรแกรมโดยเปิดเมนู Start แล้วพิมพ์เลย ไม่ต้องใช้ช่องค้นหา
คลิก Command Prompt. ที่ด้านบนของผลการค้นหา เพื่อเปิดหน้าต่าง Command Prompt
พิมพ์ wmic memorychip get speed. ในหน้าต่าง Command Prompt เพื่อเช็คความเร็วของ RAM chip
กด ↵ Enter ที่คีย์บอร์ด. เพื่อใช้คำสั่ง แล้วแสดงรายการความเร็วของแต่ละ RAM chipโฆษณา
เปิดโฟลเดอร์ Utilities ใน Mac. โฟลเดอร์นี้จะอยู่ในโฟลเดอร์ Applications อีกที หรือคลิกไอคอนรูปแว่นขยายที่ด้านขวาบน แล้วค้นหาด้วย Spotlight Search
ดับเบิลคลิก System Information. ไอคอน System Information จะเป็นรูปชิปคอมพิวเตอร์ อยู่ในโฟลเดอร์ Utilities ดับเบิลคลิกแล้วแอพจะเปิดมาในหน้าต่างใหม่
คลิก Memory ในกรอบซ้ายมือ. หาแล้วเปิด tab Memory จากในกรอบ navigation ทางซ้ายของ System Information โดย tab นี้จะแสดงข้อมูลโดยละเอียดของแต่ละ RAM chip ที่ติดตั้งไว้ในคอม
เช็ค speed ของแต่ละชิปในตาราง Memory Slots. ตารางนี้จะมีรายชื่อ RAM chip ทั้งหมดที่ติดตั้งไว้ รวมถึง Speed ของแต่ละชิป ไปจนถึง Size, Type และ Status ด้วยโฆษณา
