บทความวิกิฮาวนี้จะแนะนำวิธีการลบ Bing ไม่ให้เป็น search engine หลักของเบราว์เซอร์ Google Chrome โดยใช้เมนู Settings หรือถ้าไม่ได้ผล ก็ให้รีเซ็ต Chrome กลับเป็นค่า default
ขั้นตอน
เปิด Google Chrome.[1]
คลิก ⋮. ที่มุมขวาบนของเบราว์เซอร์
คลิก Settings.
เลื่อนลงไปที่ Show home button. จะอยู่ในหัวข้อ "Appearance" ของเมนู- ถ้าเปิดอยู่ และ Web address ของปุ่มโฮมเป็นเว็บ Bing ให้ลบแล้วกด ↵ Enter
เลื่อนลงไปคลิกข้าง Search engine used in the address bar. จะอยู่ในหัวข้อ "Search engine" ของเมนู
คลิก Search Engine ไหนก็ได้ที่ไม่ใช่ Bing.
คลิก Manage search engines. ในหัวข้อ "Search engine" ของเมนู
คลิก ⋮ ทางขวาของ Bing.
คลิก Remove from list. เท่านี้ Bing ก็ไม่ใช่ search engine ของ Chrome อีกต่อไป
เลื่อนลงไปที่หัวข้อ "On startup" ของเมนู.
คลิก Open a specific page or set of pages. ถ้าเห็น Web address ของ Bing ให้- คลิก ⋮ ทางขวาของ URL ของ Bing
- คลิก Remove เพื่อลบ Bing ออกจาก Chrome
ปิด tab Settings. ที่ด้านบนของหน้า เหนือแถบ address ของ Chrome เพื่อเซฟค่าใหม่โฆษณา
เปิด Google Chrome.[2]
คลิก ⋮. ที่มุมขวาบนของหน้าต่างเบราว์เซอร์
คลิก Settings.
เลื่อนลงมาคลิก Advanced. ทางด้านล่างของเมนู
เลื่อนลงมาคลิก Reset. ทางด้านล่างของเมนู
คลิก RESET. อ่าน dialog box ให้ละเอียด เพราะเรากำลังจะรีเซ็ตเบราว์เซอร์กลับค่าตั้งต้น- ถ้าทำทุกวิธีแล้วยังไม่ได้ผล ยังไง Chrome ก็กลับไปใช้ Bing อยู่เรื่อย แสดงว่าน่าจะติดไวรัส Bing Redirect เข้าซะแล้ว[3] ต้องไปหาวิธีกำจัดจากในเน็ต แล้วทำตามขั้นตอนเพื่อลบไวรัสจากคอม
