If you are under the age of 13, you are not allowed to create an account on How.com.vn unless we receive permission from your parent or legal guardian. If we become aware of a user who is under 13, the COPPA permission form must be completed and returned to How.com.vn within 3 days of being notified. If not, your account will be closed.
According to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), it is unlawful for any website to collect, maintain or store any personal information from any child under the age of 13. According to United States law, personal information can be described as:
- A first and last name
- A home or other physical address including street name and name of a city or town
- An email address
- A telephone number
- A Social Security number
- Any other identifier that the Commission determines permits the physical or online contact of a specific individual
- Information concerning the child or the parents of that child that the website collects online from the child and combines with an identifier described in this paragraph.
