How to Work with Video on Clips App on iPhone or iPad

This How.com.vn teaches you how to create and edit your own video projects with Clips on an iPhone or iPad.

Method 1
Method 1 of 6:

Recording a Clip

  1. How.com.vn English: Step 1 Open Clips on your iPhone or iPad.
    It’s the white icon containing a blueish circle with a white video camera inside. You should find it on the home screen.
    • If you don’t have Clips installed, download it from the App Store.
  2. How.com.vn English: Step 2 Tap the folder icon.
    It’s at the top-left corner.
  3. How.com.vn English: Step 3 Create or select a project.
    To create a new project, tap + at the top-left corner. If you’ve already created a project, select it, and then tap Open.[1]

    If you want to switch the camera to the front/selfie camera, tap the camera with two curved arrows at the top of the screen.

    • If you lock the record button in place, tap the stop button when you’re finished recording.

    If you’ve added more clips to your timeline, this button will play all clips in the timeline.

Adding Animated Captions While Recording

Adding Photos or Videos Clips

    • Think of inserting a photo or video as ″recording″ the photo or video for a certain duration. You’ll basically be recording the photo or video for however long you want it to appear on the screen in your project.

    To do so, tap the folder icon at the top-left corner of the screen, then tap the project.

Trimming the Length of a Clip
