How to Use the VSCO Camera App on iPhone or iPad

This How.com.vn teaches you how to get started with VSCO, the free camera and photo editing app, on an iPhone or iPad. You can also share photos you’ve taken or edited in other apps, or by publishing them to the VSCO community.

Method 1 of 4:

Taking Photos

  1. How.com.vn English: Step 1 Open VSCO on your iPhone or iPad.
    It’s the white icon containing a circle comprised of two rows of squares. You’ll usually find it on the home screen.
    • If you haven’t yet installed the app, you can download it for free from the App Store. Just search for vsco, tap VSCO, and then tap GET to install it.
    • When launching VSCO for the first time, follow the on-screen instructions to create an account or log into an existing one.
  2. How.com.vn English: Step 2 Tap the two overlapping squares.
    It’s in the gray icon bar at the bottom of the screen. This opens your ″Studio,″ which is where you’ll find all photos you’ve taken or edited in VSCO.[1]

Editing Photos

    • Tap Exposure to control the light in the photo.
    • Tap Contrast to increase the contrast between lights and darks.
    • Tap Adjust to crop or rotate the photo.
    • Tap Sharpen to make lines appear more crisp.
    • Tap Clarity to remove blur and noise from the photo.
    • Tap Saturation to make the colors more or less vivid.
    • Tap Tone to adjust color hues.
    • Tap White Balance to adjust the temperature and tint of whites in the photo.
    • Tap Skin Tone to adjust the tone of a person’s skin.
    • Tap Vignette to darken or brighten the area around the edges.
    • Tap Grain to add noise.
    • Tap Fade to lighten/fade the photo.
  7. How.com.vn English: Step 7 Tap Save to save your changes.
    This returns you to your Studio.

Publishing Photos to VSCO
