This How.com.vn teaches you how to add cool filter effects (called Camera Effects) to the photos you send via iMessage on your iPhone or iPad. Camera Effects are available on iPhones and iPads running iOS 12 and later.
Steps
- Open Messages on your iPhone or iPad. It’s the green icon with a white chat bubble inside. You’ll usually find it at the bottom of the home screen.
- Open or create a new message. Tap any message on the screen to open it, or tap the pen-and-paper icon at the top-right corner to create a new one.
- If you create a new message, enter the recipient’s name or contact info into the ″To″ field at the top of the message.
- Tap the camera icon. It’s at the bottom-left corner of the message.
- To flip the camera, tap the camera icon containing two curved arrows at the bottom-right corner of the screen.
- Tap the effects icon. It’s the star at the bottom-left corner of the screen.
- Tap the filters icon. It’s the icon with three circles (red, blue, and green) at the bottom-left corner of the screen.
- Select a filter. Swipe left across the filters at the bottom of the screen to view your options, then tap one you want to use.
- Tap x. It’s at the top-right corner of the Filters list. This returns you to the camera screen.
- Tap the circle to take a photo. This displays your photo. If you don’t like it, tap Retake at the top-left corner to try again.
- Edit the photo (optional). To play with even more filter and color options, tap Edit at the bottom of the screen, and then tap the dial icon (the third icon at the bottom) to edit the Light, Color, and B&W options. When you’re finished, tap Done at the bottom-right corner.
- Send the photo. Tap the blue and white arrow at the bottom-right corner to send your filtered photo to the other person in the conversation.Advertisement
