   Open the Facetune 2 app on your iPhone or iPad. The Facetune icon looks like a blue face in red-and-blue half-circle in front of a white background. You can find it on your home screen or in an app folder.

   • The first time you open the app, you'll have to swipe left a few times, and tap the blue Let's go! button to start using the app.
   • If you see the Facetune VIP offer, tap the "X" on the top-left. This will close the ad, and allow you to use the app's free features.

   Tap the camera icon on the top-left. You can find this button on a navigation bar at the top of your screen. It will open your camera, and allow you to take a new picture or video.

   • If you're prompted, tap Allow or OK to allow the Facetune app access to your camera and microphone.
   • Alternatively, you can tap the picture icon on the top-right, and select a picture or video from your Camera Roll.

   Tap the camera tool you want to use at the bottom. You'll find a list of all the camera editing tools at the bottom of your camera screen. You can adjust the camera tools here, and see a preview of your picture before taking it.

   • If you don't see the camera editing tools at the bottom, tap the magic wand icon on the bottom-right. This button allows you to open and close the editing toolbar on the camera screen.
   • Smooth will allow you to edit your skin for a smoother texture.
   • Whiten will make your teeth look whiter.
   • Details will make your eyes look brighter.
   • Size with the nose icon will allow you to change the size of your nose.
   • Size with the eye icon will allow you to change the size of your eyes.
   • Height will allow you to move your lips up or down on your face.

   Drag the slider to apply the selected tool to your camera. This is a blue-and-white bar at the bottom of your camera screen. You can hold down and drag the slider here to adjust the selected tool.

   • You'll see a live preview of your adjustments on your screen.

   Tap the three-circles icon on the bottom-left. This will close the camera tools, and open the filter list at the bottom.

   Tap a filter on the filter list. This will apply the selected filter to your picture.

   Drag the slider at the bottom to adjust the filter level. Hold down and drag the slider at the bottom to the left for a lighter filter effect, or drag it to the right to saturate the picture with the selected filter.

   Tap the blue circle at the bottom. This is your Capture button. It will take a picture with all the effects and filters you select here, and take you to the retouching page.

   • Alternatively, hold down the Capture button to record video.
   • Optionally, you can tap the thunderbolt icon at the top to enable/disable the camera flash, the clock icon to set a timer, or the camera with revolving arrows on the top-right to switch between your back and front cameras.

Retouching Photos and Videos

   Tap Retouch at the bottom. This button looks like a droplet icon on the bottom-left corner. It will open your photo retouching tools on a new page.

   Select the retouching tool you want to use. This menu allows you to use the same tools as the camera editing tools, and a few more options like Texture, Details, and Sharpen.

   • The tools with the blue Try label are only available in the paid, premium version of the app.

   Paint all the areas in the picture you want to use this tool on. After you select a retouching tool, use your finger to paint on the picture, and select the areas you want to apply this effect.

   • Selected sections will flash in blue when you tap the same tool again on the toolbar at the bottom.

   Drag the slider to adjust the effect level. Hold down and drag the blue-and-white slider at the bottom of your picture to adjust the level of the selected effect on your picture.

   icon on the bottom-right. This will confirm your edit, and take you back to the main retouching page.

   Tap Face at the bottom. This will allow you to edit the shape of your face in the picture.

   Select Smile, Jaw or Width. You'll see these options at the bottom of your picture, above the editing toolbar. You can select and edit each one separately.

   Drag the slider to change the shape of your face. After selecting one of Smile, Jaw or Width, use the slider at the bottom of the picture to edit the selected feature on your face.

   • All the other face-editing tools are only available in the premium version of the app.

   on the bottom-right. This will confirm your face edits, and go back to the retouching page.

    Tap Reshape on the bottom toolbar. This button looks like a grid icon. It will allow you to manually change the shape and size of any part of your picture.

    Select one of the reshape options on the Reshape toolbar. Your options include Reshape, Refine, Resize, and Restore.

    Use a finger or two fingers to apply the shape effect. You can paint any part of the picture with your fingers to apply the selected effect.

    • For Reshape and Refine, use one finger to edit the shapes in the picture.
    • For Resize, pinch in and pinch out with two fingers on whatever you want to resize.
    • Restore will allow you to restore an edited section to its original shape.

    on the bottom-right. This will confirm the shape edits, and go back to the retouching page.

    Tap Filters on the bottom toolbar. This icon looks like three circles. This will open the filter menu at the bottom of your screen.

    • Drag the slider at the bottom of the picture to adjust the filter level.
    • Tap the white checkmark on the bottom-right to confirm the filter.

    Tap Paint on the bottom toolbar. This button looks like a paintbrush icon. It will open your painting options.

    Select a painting option on the Paint menu. Here, you can edit your skin color and picture's tone separately, and further paint on the picture with any color you want.

    • Skin will allow you to change your skin color.
    • Tone will allow you to change the color tone of your picture.
    • Paint will allow you to paint on the picture as you wish.

    Select a color on the right-hand side. You'll see the available colors on the right-hand side of your screen. Tap the color you want to use here.

    Tap the parts you want to paint in the picture. This will apply the selected color and effect to the parts you brush with your finger.

    • Optionally, drag the slider at the bottom of the picture to adjust the level of your painting effect.
    • Tap the white checkmark on the bottom-right to confirm your painting edits.

    Tap Neon on the bottom toolbar. This button looks like a colored triangle. It will allow you to add neon lights to your picture.

    Select Left, Right or Center. This will add a neon light source to the selected position in your picture.

    • For example, if you select Left, it will add a neon light source from the left-hand side.
    • You can also select Random here to randomize the position of your neon light source.

    • Tap the white checkmark on the bottom-right to confirm your neon lights.

Saving or Sharing Your Photos or Videos

   icon on the top-right. This button is in the upper-right corner of your screen. It will open your sharing options at the top.

   Tap Save to Camera Roll. This will save the edited picture or video to your iPhone or iPad's Camera Roll. You can find it in your Photos app.

   Tap Message to send the picture as a text message. This button looks like a speech bubble icon on the Share menu. It will export your edited picture, and open it in a new text message in the Messages app.

   • Add a recipient to your message in the Messages app, and tap the blue-and-white upward arrow icon on the bottom-right to send it.

   Tap Email to send the picture in an email. This will open a new message in the Mail app, and export your edited picture here.

   • Add a recipient and a subject line, and tap the Send button on the top-right corner.

   Select any app here to share the edited picture. You can select a social media app like Facebook, Instagram or Twitter here to post your picture online, or a messaging app like Snapchat or Messenger to send it to your friends.
