How to Use 500px with Facebook on Android

This How.com.vn teaches you how to share photos from 500px to your Facebook timeline on an Android phone or tablet. You'll also learn how to create a new 500px account linked to your Facebook profile so you don't have to remember another password.

Signing Up with Facebook

Open 500px on your Android. You'll usually find it on the home screen or in the app drawer. Look for a black icon that says ″500px″ inside. If you don't have the app, download it now from the Play Store. Here's how:
- Tap the Play Store
  icon in the app drawer.
- Type 500px into the search bar.
- Tap 500px (the black icon that says ″500px″ inside).
- Tap INSTALL and follow the on-screen instructions.
It's the blue button at the bottom of the screen.

Tap Log in with the Facebook app. You'll only see this if you have the Facebook app on your phone or tablet.
- If you don't have the Facebook app, 500px will open Facebook in your web browser. You may have to give the app permission to do this.

Sign into Facebook or confirm your login.
- If you're already signed in to your account, tap Continue as <your name> to link it to 500px.
- If you're not logged in, follow the on-screen instructions to do so, and then tap Continue.
You'll see that 500px has already filled in the first name, last name, and username blanks with information it gathered from Facebook. You can edit any of these options before you proceed.
The styles you select helps 500px customize your feed with photos relevant to your interests.
Once the setup is complete, you'll see the 500px Home screen.
This confirms that you accept 500px's policies. After accepting, you'll be able to use 500px to find, share, and post photos.

Sharing Your Photos on Facebook

You'll usually find it on the home screen or in the app drawer. Look for a black icon that says ″500px″ inside.

Tap your profile photo. It's at the top-left corner of the screen. This opens your profile.
- If you signed up with Facebook, the photo will be the same one you use on your Facebook profile (unless you've changed it).
- If you haven't set a profile photo, tap the small silhouette of a person instead at the top-left corner instead.

Browse for a photo. Your photos appear in order on the PHOTOS tab, which opens by default. Scroll down to view them all, then tap the one you want to share.
- If you've arranged your photos into galleries, tap GALLERIES near the top of your profile to browse by gallery.
This displays a list of ways to share your photo.
You may have to scroll down to find it. This creates a new Facebook post with your image attached.
If you'd like to include any text with your photo, type it into the typing area.
Your post is now shared. Anyone who has permission to view the posts on your timeline can now follow the link in your post to see your photo.

Sharing Someone Else's Photos on Facebook

You'll usually find it on the home screen or in the app drawer. Look for a black icon that says ″500px″ inside.

Browse or search for a photo to share. There are a few ways to find photos that interest you:
- Scroll down on the Home screen (which opens by default) to find photos in your personal feed, then tap a photo to open it.
- Open the Discover page by tapping the magnifying glass at the bottom of the screen, select a category, then tap a photo.
- Open the Discover page by tapping the magnifying glass at the bottom of the screen, type a keyword into the search bar, tap the search key, and then select a photo.
It's at the top-right corner of the photo. A list of sharing methods will appear.
You may have to scroll down to find it. This creates a new Facebook post with the selected image attached.
If you'd like to include any text with the photo, type it into the typing area.
Your post is now shared. Anyone who has permission to view the posts on your timeline can now follow the link in your post to see the photo.
