How to Upload Podcasts on SoundCloud on Android

SoundCloud is a music and podcast streaming service that allows you to listen to music and upload your own. This How.com.vn teaches you how to upload podcasts on SoundCloud on Android. Before you get started, make sure you've downloaded the SoundCloud app on your phone and logged into your account.

Steps

  1. How.com.vn English: Step 1 Open File Manager.
    This app icon looks like a box full of CDs, pictures, and video film. You can find this app on either your home screen, in the app drawer, or by searching for it using the Search feature.
    • The icon might looks like a folder and be called My Files depending on the type of phone you have.
  2. How.com.vn English: Step 2 Tap your main storage location.
    This can be called Internal Shared Storage or Internal Storage.
  3. How.com.vn English: Step 3 Navigate to the podcast you want to upload to SoundCloud.
    This can be in either Downloads if you downloaded your podcast or in the Podcast folder or Music folder if you recorded the podcast directly from your device.

    It will highlight in blue and the options along the bottom of your screen change.
  5. How.com.vn English: Step 5 Tap icon.
    This is the Share feature and will open a new window with platforms that you can share this file to.

    A page opens that will allow you to fill in the file name, artwork, and decide if it will be a public podcast or private.
  7. How.com.vn English: Step 7 Fill out the page.
    Enter in the podcast name, pick artwork, and tap whether you want the podcast to be public or private.
  8. How.com.vn English: Step 8 Tap Upload.
    This is the orange circle with the white arrow pointing up inside.
    • Your podcast is now uploaded to Soundcloud.
