How to Uninstall Twitch on Android

You can easily delete the app from your Android's Apps menu, but to disable your account, you will have to log in to the desktop version of the Twitch website in your mobile internet browser.

Deleting the App

    Find and tap the

    • On some Androids, you won't have this button. In this case, swipe up from the bottom of your screen to open the Apps menu.

    This option shows up at the top of your screen when you enter editing mode on the Apps menu.
    • On some Androids, your options will just pop up next to the app icon when you long-press the icon. In this case, you can tap Uninstall on the pop-up menu here.

    This will confirm your action, and remove the Twitch app from your phone or tablet.

Disabling Your Account

    • Twitch's mobile app does not give an in-app option to disable your account.
    • You will have to log in to the desktop version of the Twitch website in your browser.
    • Alternatively, you can use a different browser like Firefox or Opera.

    Go to the Twitch website. Type https://www.twitch.tv into the address bar, and press Enter or Return on your keyboard.

    This button is located in the upper-right corner of your browser. It will open your browser options on a drop-down menu.

    • You'll have to enter and verify your account password in a confirmation pop-up.

    Click the Password field, and type the password you use to log in to this account.
  10. How.com.vn English: Step 10 Tap Verify.
    This is a purple button at the bottom of the confirmation pop-up. It will verify your password, and disable your account.
