How to Tell Horn from Plastic

It can be a little tricky to tell the difference between horn and plastic if the plastic is designed to look just like horn material. Luckily there are some easy ways to help you decide if your item is made from horn or plastic, either just by looking at it or by manipulating it in some way. Look for a seam on the item indicating that it’s plastic. When something is made of plastic, you can often find the seam from the mold it was in.
