Avoiding a Black Screen When Streaming Netflix on Discord
If you use the Discord app, open the app's settings, click on Advanced, and disable hardware acceleration. For web Discord, disable hardware acceleration/graphical acceleration in the browser's settings. Disabling hardware acceleration will fix Netflix only showing a black screen when streaming.
Steps
Open Discord. Click the app icon in your Start menu or on your Dock.- If Hardware Acceleration is enabled in Discord, streaming Netflix will usually result in a black screen. Fortunately, it's easy to turn off.
