This How.com.vn teaches you how to create a new group chat on GroupMe and add contacts to it, using Android.
Steps
Open the GroupMe app on your Android. The GroupMe icon looks like a blue speech bubble icon with a white "#" sign in it. You can find it on your Apps menu.
Tap the New Chat icon. It looks like a white speech bubble with a "+" sign on a blue button in the lower-right corner of your screen.Advertisement
Tap Start Group. This option will let you create a new group chat.
Enter a name for your new group. You can use your keyboard to type a name into the Group Name field, or paste text from your keyboard.- Optionally, you can also add a Group Topic below the Group Name field.
Tap Set Avatar. This option is located on a gray figurehead image at the top of the page. It will open your image gallery, and allow you to select a group picture for your new chat.- This is an optional step. If you're short on time, you can come back and upload a group picture later from your group settings.
Select an image to upload. Find a nice group picture in your gallery, and tap it. This will open the selected image in full-screen.
Tap the white checkmark at the bottom. It will confirm your selection, and upload this image as your new group avatar.
Tap NEXT. This button is in the upper-right corner of your screen. It will create your group, and open your contacts list.
Select all the contacts you want to add to the group. Selected contacts will appear on a list at the top of your screen.- If you want to skip this part and add contacts to your chat later, tap SKIP in the upper-right corner of your screen.
Tap the white checkmark icon. It's located in the upper-right corner of your screen. Tapping will confirm your selection of contacts, and start your new group chat.Advertisement
