Luckily, there’s an easy and secure way to let your guests instantly connect to your network, even if they can’t use Apple’s Airdrop feature. All you need to do is download a QR code generator on your iPhone and create a code containing your network info. In this article, we’ll guide you through how to do it.
Steps
Copy down the network information from your router. You’ll need the SSID (or network name), the password, and the network encryption type (for example, WEP, WPA, WPA2, WPA3, or none).[1] This information is usually printed on the side of the router you use for your Wi-Fi network.
Install a QR code generator on your iPhone. There are several QR code generators for iOS available in the App Store. Some popular options include Qrafter, My QR Code Generator, and Visual Codes.
