Steps
Using the Bitmoji App
Open the Bitmoji app on your iPhone or iPad. The Bitmoji icon looks like a white, winking emoji in a green box on your device's home screen. It will open up to a list of recently used and new Bitmoji.
Find and tap the Bitmoji you want to send. You can browse recently used, new, and themed Bitmojis by scrolling down the menu. Tapping a Bitmoji will bring up a pop-up menu of options from the bottom of your screen- You can swipe left and right, or tap a category icon at the bottom of your screen in order to browse all the categories.
Tap the Mail app in the pop-up. This will create a new email message and paste your selected Bitmoji into the email body.- Alternatively, you can select and use a different email app in the pop-up.
Enter the recipient's email address and a subject line. Fill out the To: and Subject: lines in your email before you send it.
Tap the Send button. This is a blue button in the upper-right corner of your screen. It will send your email to your contact.Advertisement
Using the Bitmoji Keyboard
Open your email app on your iPhone or iPad. You can use your device's stock Mail app, or another email client such as Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook.
Start a new email. Find and tap the new message button in the email app you're using.- For the stock Mail app in iOS, tap the paper and pen icon in the lower-right corner of your screen.
Tap the email body. This will bring up your keyboard.
Tap and hold the globe icon on your keyboard. This button is located between the 123 button and the microphone icon in the lower-left corner of your screen.
Select Bitmoji from the options that pop out. This will switch your keyboard to your Bitmoji menu.
Tap a Bitmoji from the menu. It will copy this Bitmoji to your clipboard. You will see a green bar above your keyboard confirming "Bitmoji copied."- You can swipe left and right on the Bitmoji menu, or tap a category icon at the bottom of your screen in order to browse all the categories.
Tap and hold the email body. Your options will pop out in a black toolbar.
Tap Paste on the toolbar. This will paste the copied Bitmoji into the email body.
