Repair any damage done to the book. If you have a pile of well-loved books that you’re trying to resell, the first thing you’ll want to do is get them in tip-top shape. Condition is extremely important in valuing a book. Even if your book has condition issues, however, it may still have some value if it is a first edition or is autographed by the author. You can take to an appraiser to find out.
