Repeat tracks, albums, and playlists on Android and iOS
Download Article

Sometimes you just can’t get enough of a song, and the only thing for it is to play it on repeat. Like many music streaming services, Soundcloud has a function just for that purpose, but on mobile, it’s a little hidden behind a couple menus. We’re here to show you how to access and use it, so you can get your fix.

Repeating Songs on Soundcloud Mobile (Android & iOS)

Select the song, album, or playlist you want to repeat so it begins playing. Tap the music player bar that appears at the bottom of the screen, then tap the “Next Up” menu (3 horizontal lines). Next, tap the oval arrow icon once to repeat the current song, or twice to repeat the entire album or playlist.

  4. How.com.vn English: Step 4 Tap once on the oval icon with an arrow at the top right of the screen.
Tapping this icon once will highlight it and add a “1” to the icon, which means only the current song will repeat. Tapping it again removes the “1” but keep the icon highlighted, indicating that the entire album or playlist will repeat.
    • Tap the icon a third time to turn off the repeat function.
    • Next to the “Repeat” icon, you’ll also notice the “Shuffle” icon, featuring 2 overlapping arrows. This plays the selected album or playlist in a random order.

      Tips

      • Soundcloud tracks a “play” every time the “play” button is clicked on a song, so repeats may not be tracked. Self-plays, or playing your own song, do not contribute to play count.[2]
      • While in the “Next Up” menu, you can also drag songs up or down to manually change their playback order.
