Mix distilled white vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Combine 0.5 c (120 mL) vinegar and 2 c (470 mL) water for upholstery or a 50/50 mix for carpet. If your tap water is hard, use distilled water to prevent minerals getting deposited into your upholstery or rug.
