Steps
- Go to https://www.dropbox.com in a web browser. This will display the contents of your Dropbox.
- If you don’t see your files, click Sign in at the top-right corner of the screen to sign in now.
- Hover the mouse over the shared folder you want to delete. A new button will appear at its far-right edge.Advertisement
- Click Share. This brings up the sharing panel.
- Click the downward-pointing arrow next to the other user.
- Click Remove. A confirmation pop-up will appear.
- Click Remove to confirm. Since you’ll be deleting the folder, there’s no reason to check any of the listed options first. The folder is no longer shared, which means you can delete it now.
- If the folder is shared with multiple users, you’ll have to remove all users before you can delete it.
- Click the x to close the sharing panel. This brings you back to your Dropbox.
- Click ⋯ next to the folder.
