Spotify is a streaming service that allows users to listen to millions of songs, and Spotify Premium users can download their favorite songs, albums, playlists, and podcasts right to their device. However, this convenience can quickly fill up a device’s storage space. This How.com.vn article will show you four different methods, depending on your preferences, to reducing your Spotify storage on an Android device.
Steps
Removing Your Downloaded Playlists, Albums, and Podcasts
- Tap on Your Library in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
- Tap on either Playlists or Albums. The process is the same for both options.
- Look for a green circled arrow next to your playlist or album name as this indicates if it is downloaded on your device.
- Tap on the three gray dots next to a downloaded playlist or album.
- Tap Remove Download from the menu to clear it off of your device.
- This will not remove your playlist or album from your Spotify account, but it will clear it off of your device’s storage.
- Tap on Podcasts, and then tap Downloaded Episodes.
- Tap on the green circled arrow under each podcast. This will remove the download off of your device.Advertisement
