Community Q&A
- QuestionCan I compare the English alphabet to the Russian alphabet?System of a Disturbed Linkin R.E.SoundKornCommunity AnswerYou can, but it helps to avoid doing that. You shouldn't translate letters like you would with words as both alphabets are quite different.
- QuestionIs Russian written left to right or right to left?Community AnswerIt's written left to right, and it uses the Cyrillic alphabet rather than the English one.
- QuestionIs there any good source of learning Russian?Community AnswerYes, there is a number of places online, such as: Duolingo, the YouTube channel, Real Russian Club. And you could also try Russian classes near your home. These are all great ways to learn Russian.

Tips
Warnings
- Watch out for fake Cyrillic, or the use of Cyrillic letters in English words to make them look "Russian." Most of these words end up sounding very different than the writer intended if you use the real pronunciation of the Cyrillic letters. For example, someone might write "ЯUSSIAИ," which is nonsense if you actually know Cyrillic.[13]Thanks
