How to Print QR Codes on Paper on iPhone or iPad

QR codes are icons on paper that contain information like a website, a business card, or a coupon. You can create your own QR code or find one while you’re out that you want to give to a friend. While a digital image of the QR code should suffice, you can print the code on paper. This How.com.vn will show you how to print a QR code on paper from your iPhone or iPad. First, you’ll need to have an image of the QR code on your phone -- either as a document in Google Drive or a picture in your photo gallery. Second, you’ll need to make sure your printer is set up with Airprint and that your phone/tablet is on the same network as your printer.

Steps

  1. How.com.vn English: Step 1 Open the QR code you want to print.
If you took a photo or screenshot of the code, you'll find it in the Photos app. You can also find QR codes in various apps or on the web.
  2. How.com.vn English: Step 2 Tap the app’s share icon iconiconicon or ••• .
The icon for sharing will vary by app.
  3. How.com.vn English: Step 3 Tap the print icon icon.
If you don’t see the option to print, the app you're using doesn't support this feature. Try taking a screenshot of the code and opening it the Photos app instead.
  4. How.com.vn English: Step 4 Tap Select Printer.
You’ll see a list of available printers.
  5. How.com.vn English: Step 5 Tap to choose your AirPrint-enabled printer.
You’ll be taken back to the print preview.
    • If you don’t see your printer listed, you may not have activated AirPrint correctly.
    • You have the options to choose how many copies you want and which pages of the document to print.[1]
  6. How.com.vn English: Step 6 Tap Print.
You’ll see this in the upper right corner of your screen.
